After working all night on her final edits for Beauty and the Vampire Book 2, Zoey Hunter set her phone alarm for noon, allowing just enough time for coffee and a shower before her long awaited interview with some very important book people. Minutes before her alarm was set to go off, she woke with a start to an eerie quiet, and when it dawned on her why it was so quiet (no electricity), and she understood just what that meant (no coffee), she screamed into the void... :P

I love vampires, so a book featuring a vampire was definitely going to happen. ;-) And also, you know, Beauty and the Beast is my favorite story of all time. But I always secretly wished Beast could have been a vampire. So I made him into one in my version. Which, btw, veers pretty far and wide from the original tale. Just fyi.
