I'd have to say that I don't consider myself a writer just yet. I'm a hobbyist. I have two jobs during the week, and have to write around them.

When I'm having a hard time moving forward, I'll pick up a book from an author I've never read from before. Sometimes you need a change of scenery. Reading a novel set in a different time period, country, and world from mine, clears the roadblocks so I can carry on. I also set up a song list and plug that in when I need the inspiration.

I'm working on a paranormal short story that will be published in an anthology due out around Halloween 2018. I'm excited about this collection of stories because they are all so different, yet the theme of each one is similar.
I also have another short story I'm working on that includes the main character from my December 2017 novella, Malcolm. This story delves into his past and how his character changed to what he is today.
I'm also knee deep in a full length novel. My writing is changing over time, and the novel needs some TLC before it's released.
