I had a dream the weekend before NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) 2013 started and I decided to write the story.
The name for the ranch came from a car ride with my kids. My daughter and I were discussing the difference between varying bra sizes and from the back seat my son (nine years old at the time) asked, "what's a double D?" My daughter and I glanced at each other trying to stanch the giggles. Luckily, we were passing a cattle farm and I pointed out the window answering, "It's the name of the ranch."
