Andrew Capets Hi Doris,
It was so nice to receive your message. I was fortunate to have the WW1 Centennial Commission endorse my book, so I had a second edition printed, and it is available on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Good-War-Great...
Yes, the first edition was taken offline.
I didn't know PCN was re-running the program, so that's nice to hear. I would be interested in any feedback you have about the book.
Stay well,
Andrew
Andrew Capets Since my book has been published, I am sharing the stories of service with the readers and discovering family members who also served in this battalion. I want their stories to appear on the WW1CC.org "Stories of Service" site that will become a permanent record in the National Archives commemorating the centennial of the Great War.
Andrew Capets Inspiration comes from wanting to share a story that I discovered about a particular topic. If I find it interesting I know there are other readers out there that share the same interest.
Andrew Capets I am generally interested in family history. I wanted to know about my grandfather's service record during WW1. I never expected to find the letters and journals of his commanding officers waiting to be rediscover for me to share.
