M.V. Clark My 6-year old son. Seriously! He was rambling on about zombies as per usual and he suddenly said "what if every zombie had X?" [X is a plot point I don't want to give away]. I wasn't even listening but my husband turned to me and said "What a great idea for a movie... or a book?" The whole plot of The Splits came to me in a flash of light like Zeus impregnating me or something.
M.V. Clark Reading a lot of non-fiction.
M.V. Clark I'm working on some fun youtube ideas to do with horror films. I do have the idea for the next book in the Splits Archive series but I haven't found time to start yet.
M.V. Clark I'm still aspiring myself! But someone once said to me "Find your writing G-spot. Don't write what you think you should write, write about what really turns YOU on." That's why I wrote about zombies in The Splits and that's the advice I always pass on.
M.V. Clark Being able to be genuinely interested in absolutely everybody you meet because the best characters are of no one type, class, status or personality.
M.V. Clark I think the best cure for writer's block is boredom.
