S.R. Chase This is a tough one. I had tons of manuscripts that I started over the span of 20 years! Once I started writing Private Betrayal, I could not stop. It took someone else to push me.
S.R. Chase The idea for Private Betrayal was through watching the heartbreak of so many women due to cheating men. Today, sidechicks/mistresses have been placed on a pedestal and have no shame they are hurting others with their deception. Also, I wanted to look at the lens of sexual harassment. Are all the stories really real? What if.....;-)
S.R. Chase Sharing knowledge with others. Making someone else's day a bit brighter with your work. I also love the isolation it takes to write.
S.R. Chase Go with your gut!
Make time to write! And always remember your dreams are valid.
Read, read, and read some more!!!
Don't forget the marketing of the book, it's more work than writing :-)
S.R. Chase A novel called "Mother"....can't give it away right now.
S.R. Chase Through a good friend who, after 20 years in another career, told me when I complained about losing a job. "You're a writer, so write!" It opened up a flood gate.
