I don't think I find it difficult; mainly because I don't control my story or the dialogue. Expressing my emotion through my characters has been one of the most natural things I have ever done. The more powerful the emotion, the more liberated I feel when I express it through my writing.
My method of writing is to listen to the same playlists, sit in the same locations, read the last chapter I wrote, and just go with whatever I pen. I feel the flow of the story, especially with raw emotion, is more natural. There are characters in my novel that die, whom if I went with my mind they would have survived. I am attached to these characters so when they hurt I hurt. But in life, you can't control that, so I decided to go with the flow.

Stay true to who you are and the stories that you want to share. Don't allow others to write your stories for you. Keep your voice.

For me, the best thing about writing is the feeling I get each time I discover something new in the story or meet a new character that I didn't anticipate.

To be honest, I don't deal with it. I don't want my stories to come across as forced.
