A lot of my book is from life experiences as well as inspiration from my favorite books and films. I read Jurassic Park for suspense inspiration and have been loving that style of storytelling. My Cavegirls book was inspired by my sister and I's childhood. The Tudor Prom Queen is something I thought of while watching Pretty in Pink and the Tudors. Weird I know...but I like that sort of thing.

It hits me randomly. I could see an abandoned church on my way to work and have an artistic itch attack. I go crazy until I can let it out. Sometimes being a conformed adult is harder when you have that artistic itch all day. I leave notes on my phone all the time so I don't dare forget. Once I forget something...it rears it's ugly head and I can't recall what I originally wanted.

The worst story is the one never written. I have heard so many people say "I tried to write a book but...". I have family, work, and life too. Its so easy to hold down your creativity but very difficult to expose your deep thoughts and ideas. Be brave. Forget everyone else and do it for you.

I don't really get writer's block. I just get bored. I k now what's going to happen. It's just the transitions that kill me. For that it's more like procrastination than writers block.
