If I want to write, but don't know what to write about, I reread old stories or plot ideas from the past and try to "recycle" them into new stories.
If I am already writing on a story, but feel blocked or don't have the motivation to write, I take a break from writing for at least a few days and do something completely different.
Sometimes "free writing" helps, too. Set your alarm on 5 or 10 minutes. Then write whatever comes to your mind. Don't correct, don't judge. Just write on and on. This helps to get back to the flow.
