Hmm, I moved to far north Queensland only a week before we were hit with a category 3 cyclone. I had no power or water for weeks and no roads to get to town, and I had no firsthand knowledge of what to do to survive....Actually, I think I will definitely use that in one of my books :)

My mind is full of unwritten stories. Life around me is inspiration, what I see and hear in daily life, people and events all feed my imagination which in turn creates my compulsion to write.

I'm currently working on book 9 of the Eternal Series, Eternity Unveiled, although only the first 6 are currently available, I'm a couple of books ahead with writing.

I go away and do something else. Usually when I least expect it, I'll see something or hear someone say something that I can use in the story (or a variation) and it prompts my imagination once again.

Being as surprised as my readers when new twists and turns pop up in the story that I hadn't previously thought of until I wrote them!!

Keep writing. Write everything. Then read over what you've written and pull together the different threads and flesh them out. Then write some more etc.
