The most recent book that I am currently working is inspired by some personal incidents that faced last year.
As an author I draw certain inspirations from lives around me and one of the incidents happened to be from my own life.

Just write. Pick up the topics that excites you and just start writing about it. Do not worry what is selling in market. Never do that. Write what you truly believe in, something that wants to be told.
Do not be afraid of mistakes or criticism. Everyone has scope of improvement. So you are no different, neither less than anyone.
Just let your thoughts flow into your writing. Edit like crazy.
I write decent but I am such a poor editor of my work, that I just hate myself for that. I guess everyone should edit their work carefully and remove all the errors that creep in while you are writing your first or second draft.

Writer's have good imagination and having good imagination is a reward in itself.
To visualize things and then be able to say exactly what you want to say in the best possible manner, it is a real joy.
Every writer once in a while gets that 'flow'. A state, in which he is able to see, think and write in a smooth, flawless flow. Whenever a writer gets that it is pure joy. I don't think anything can be as sweet as that time with your thoughts and writing other than perhaps when you are in love.
