Micheál Cladáin I've always written -- no inspiration required. I write in my sleep.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Micheál Cladáin I have studied the Irish pre-Christian world in depth. I came across the name of my main character in an encyclopedia. There is no other mention of him that I can find, so I borrowed him and built a story around him, which takes place after The Tain (The Cattle Raid of Cooley).
