Again the answer is patience... Do not fight with block... Give it some time... Story will find its way out itself :)

Focus and Patience.... Many of us (I did too), would deviate from the original task and start spending energy on secondary task (editing, publishing, cover, profit margins etc)... While I agree these may be important, but most important task is to complete the book. First finish that and then focus on other tasks.
A technical suggestion, take regular back ups of work... I had written close to 80 pages and my laptop crashed... It was demotivating.. Took me 6 months to restart :)

I am working on Sequel to Manthan.... Plus I have an idea of a stand alone book in a different genre and an entire series altogether

The inspiration comes from within... Since childhood, I had been reading lots of books...But i found the genre exciting after reading Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.... It took some time for the idea to seed up inside, but when it did, it was just a matter of time :)

I am myself a fan of mythological stories... I had been reading about Kaliyug and other tell tales for a long time....But it all started with a funny discussion in office that if Kalki comes on Earth, how would he eventually bring end to Kaliyug... This is where the canvas was laid.
