When I have a block I go outside, I take a trip, I do something for someone else. I take the focus off the block and put it away and GO! Do things that make you happy. Flowers, birds, sunshine. There is inspiration all around.

Follow the three words charmed to me: "keep at it" !!! Do not get discouraged. Another really good thing I learned.. its powerful to follow this.... finish things. Complete the project. It may never feel done or perfect to you and you'll want to wait but it's important to follow your true north and believe in what you do or what you made. You have to believe in whatever you are doing or no one else will.

After completing Sage Words and Sage Spirit I was really happy with the process and was surprised how many children found those books special. I wanted to do a children's book. But it had to be right. When you know you know and when I met Annie Moor and saw her work I instantly knew she would be a good mix for the poems that were collected for White Wild Indigo.
