Roxy Love Two sentences?? Wow! Ok.

It's about 100 degrees outside as I push the trash bag into the dumpster behind the restaurant. I feel the heat of maggots crawling up my arm as I scream and shake them off in pure disgusting horror.
(😨😱True story.)
Roxy Love I have always loved movies like 'Sleeping With the Enemy,' 'Enough,' and 'A Cry For Help.' The types of movies that have the 'abused woman,' and you just want to see her get saved by a hero. Or see her save herself and find love with someone else. I am also a huge fan of 'Fifty Shades of Grey.' So I thought to myself imagine if there was a book out there like that, combining the two? Abused wife scenario, throw in a hero, and lots of hot kinky sex.. And that's how I came up with my series..
Roxy Love There are a lot of things that inspire me. Music inspires me. I am a hairdresser by trade and I do hear a lot of stories and gossip that inspire me. The news. Just things that happen day to day can be inspiring. The littlest thing can make me think of something that I store in the back of my mind to keep for a story. I never use or copy anything that has happened in real life. But I get pieces or ideas and can build my stories off of that.
Roxy Love Currently I am taking a little break from writing while trying to advertise my two books that are currently out. I am in the process of putting them out on paperback and looking into the prospect of possibly audiobooks as well. In the very near future, may very well be the next month or so part 3 of the Secrets and Lies series will be in the works so keep your eyes open for that..
Roxy Love If you have an idea, go for it! Take your time, don't rush. Have fun with it. I'm still new and learning myself so I can only give so much advice. But I can tell you I had the idea for the story and jumped in feet first and started writing. I kept at it until it was done. I have no regrets. Just don't give up. That's my advice for most of anything in life.
Roxy Love The best thing about being a writer is getting to escape in my own little fantasy world. It is lot's of fun. Everything happens the way I want it to, what is better than that?
Roxy Love If sitting in a quiet room alone for a long period of time doesn't spark any ideas I will sleep on it. If that fails I will let it go for a while and go back to it in my head and think while I'm driving! Funny enough, some of my best ideas come to me while driving and listening to music.
