Aurora Gayle My first novel, "Island Boys Don't Cry" tells the story of a little boy growing up in an abusive home and how he copes in an abusive environment. My novel also touches on the what its like to be gay in the Caribbean. Discrimination against gays is an issue that is quite prevalent in the Caribbean. It is inspired by a real life story and in my novel one of the main characters has to fight discrimination when he is accused of a crime.
Aurora Gayle I get inspired by just about anything, but typically I am fascinated by people. They way they walk, talk and express themselves allows me to let my imagination run wild.
