Absolutely love your book "And No Birds Shall Sing". I am a ghost story fanatic and this is fantastic! I do have a question about your first book "Lay Me To Rest". I, nor my library, can find it in any format other than Ebook or Kindle. Was it ever in print form and if so any suggestions where to find it? I will be eagerly awaitng your next book. May there be many more to follow.

Thank you very much for your kind words. If you have time, would you mind leaving a brief review, please? It only needs to be a few words and would be enormously helpful and greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, 'Lay Me to Rest' is only currently available in ebook format, although you don't actually need a Kindle - there is a free app for your PC and you can download directly to this, if you don't mind reading on an electronic device. I'm currently working on another book, which I hope to finish in the near future, so watch this space!

How do you deal with writer’s block?
E.A. Clark Reading something in the genre in which I'm are writing - this can often help spawn ideas. Or sometimes taking time out to do something completely unrelated, such as a shopping trip, can clear the mind and help to make way for new ideas.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
E.A. Clark Retreating into your own mind and creating a fictional world filled with imaginary people and scenarios! Pure escapism!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
E.A. Clark Keep writing and submitting - don't give up! It's easy to become disillusioned if your work is constantly rejected, but always remember that there will be someone out there who will love your work! And come what may, make time to write every day - the word count will soon build up!

What are you currently working on?
E.A. Clark I'm working on another ghost story! Following a series of failed pregnancies and a suicide attempt, the main protagonist, Grace, moves to an old cottage on the outskirts of Oxford with her husband and young daughter, who is blind. It soon becomes clear that their new home has a dark and troubled past...

How do you get inspired to write?
E.A. Clark Old, atmospheric houses; anywhere and anything historic; a change in the seasons; other books - all trigger ideas that inspire me to daydream and scribble!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
E.A. Clark My father is from Anglesey, in North Wales, and it's an island with very ancient history - and more than its fair share of ghostly sightings! I've always had a fascination with the paranormal and thought it would be the ideal setting for a creepy tale.
