J.C. Paulson No. I cannot read, write nor watch horror.
J.C. Paulson Funny you should ask. Hubs and I discovered a bullet-riddled car in the middle of the forest last year. What on Earth was it doing there? We thought it had been there for at least 40 years, probably much longer.
And so I wrote Two Hundred Bones.
J.C. Paulson Update: I'm presently publishing Broken Through, my sequel to Adam's Witness. It will hit Amazon Sept. 27 in Kindle, and hopefully paperback within that week.

I'm about 40K words into the sequel to Adam's Witness. Where the first book was inspired by a church's action against a gay choir (several years ago), the second one deals with the death of a woman and the subsequent search for her killer, and the questions around why women are murdered or go missing. I also advance the love story begun in the first book.
J.C. Paulson The germ of the idea came from a real event in my city, where a gay men's choir was booted from a church. But the idea for the plot emerged in my head one sleepless night, after many others. It was, in the main, right there. A couple of months later, I started writing it. It saved my starving creative side. It took me away from the dark place I had been inhabiting. It was really, slightly, miraculous.
