The sequel to Court of Twilight! I'm as excited as anyone else to see where Ivy's adventures take her. Here's how the current draft starts -

In general, I think inspiration has less to do with the process of writing than most non-writers assume. I enjoy telling stories, and the process of fiddling with words on a page to tell those stories as effectively and powerfully as possible. But most of the time, when I sit down to write, it isn't because of any particular inspiration. It's because I have a story I'm working on, and I know if I keep chipping away at that story, bit by bit, it'll slowly get to be a better story.
