The best thing about being a writer is getting to see the reaction when people read your work. It's totally self indulgent but you spend years pouring yourself into your work so it's nice to know that it has affected at least one person in a positive way. Plus feedback is so valuable, whether people like it or not, it's great to see what resonates and what doesn't!

The sequel! My debut novel is crying out to be part of a series, and the feedback i've got so far on A Witch Awakens is that they can't wait to read the next one. It's a lot of pressure! I had the pleasure of writing the first book in secret so i could take my time. However, I love the fact that people are so excited to read the next one!

The best way to deal with writer's block is to just write. Write anything. Even if you know you'll delete it all later because it's rubbish, it doesn't matter. It's important to get the flow going even if the good stuff doesn't come for a while. What matters is that it'll come eventually (unlike if you don't write anything at all).
