The idea for Beyond the Martian Star came to me years ago, when I saw a show once about aliens coming to help build the pyramids and the like. I thought to myself, "What if they were not aliens, but humans?" Over the course of the years, I added more and more to the story until it turned into the novella that is Beyond the Martian Star.
