She could see its bloodshot eyes and the hairs on its teeth as it approached the louvered wardrobe doors where her mother had put her before the intruder ascended the stairs. The wardrobe door opened slowly, although shaking with intense fear she shot it in the head, it slumped to the floor silently and so did Helen, with nervous exhaustion while wondering where her mother was, but, she had not seen the other one.
