Outline, don't reread during the first draft, and make time to write, even if it's only for 500 words. Those little bursts of writing add up over time. Give yourself small goals, focus on scenes instead of being overwhelmed by how much there is to do. And never compare your success to those around you.

So far, I haven't faced writer's block and I contribute that to outlining before I write so I always know where I'm going in the store/series.
