Right now I'm reading Lindsay Buroker's new 'Fallen Empire' spinoff series, 'Sky Full of Stars.' If you haven't read Buroker, I highly recommend her.
I'm also eagerly awaiting the next Edward W. Robertson title in the 'Cycle of Galand' (it's supposed to come out this summer, right???). I can't wait!
And in the world of physical books (I read the above on my Kindle), I'm partway through Le Guin's Hainish scifi series (a few chapters left in 'The Left Hand of Darkness').

It's tricky, especially if you're trying to get things out on a schedule. I tend to have a couple of very different projects running at once, so I can hop back and forth when this happens. But I have to be careful not to just abandon one altogether in favor of the other.

The best thing for me is that feeling when I can go to the store website and see my title online. Ooo! Or maybe the best is when I see that I got a sale! And ooo, ooo, I KNOW the best is when a fan reaches out. Yeah. That's the best.

I'm putting the finishing touches on 'The Lunar Gambit,' first-in-series for Starship Fairfax. It's currently on pre-order for a reduced price of 99cents on Amazon, and set to go live on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited on June 29 (my birthday!).

If I go too long without creating something, I feel a strong need to do so--almost like a bodily function. The only trick for me is to channel it into writing fiction instead of poetry or blogging or music, ha!

My most recently published title, 'Totaled,' is a short story that I wrote to get into a sci-fi anthology. Fingers crossed that it gets in! It also serves as a prequel story to my upcoming series, Starship Fairfax.
