I had a dream I was running to a forest and went through a gate, met a curious group of people and discovered an ominous secret once there. The dream was so vivid, and I was not at all me in it. My son told me I should write a book about it, so I started writing. Those same people in my dream became my characters, and the story twisted an turned from there.
