The land of the Houhinyms in Gulliver's Travels. I would enjoy afternoon tea and intense philosophical discussions, in elegant surroundings, with the Houhinyms, who are, of course, very intelligent and cultivated horses from whom I, as a species of Yahoo, would have much to learn.

I started writing because I wanted to revisit and capture, in fiction, the intensity of a youthful affair. I never thought of publishing until the extraordinary financial success of Fifty Shades. I thought: 'I can write better than that, perhaps I might make a lot of money as well.' (So far I haven't.)

I suspect that the term 'writers block' is simply a synonym for procrastination; something we, as writers, are prone to because writing well is so hard and daunting for most of us.
