Murphy!!! I am so sorry that I'm only seeing this question today. Six months later--you must hate me by now!
I'm thrilled you liked the books. Thank you for reading them, and thank you for letting me know.
As to the promised new book, I can tell you that I have a whopping great manuscript. A whopping great manuscript that is simply not ready.
Which is one way of saying that it kinda stinks.
I can’t imagine having this one in shape before 2022. Sorry.
I slog on. I wish I were quicker—I’m just not.
All the best,
c.t.h.

Thank you so much for asking!
Short answer: It is definitely my intention to write a third book in the series. Sometime. It might be what's next, but I can't promise.
I should obviously put an update on my website--which I've been neglecting--about plans for the future. Thanks for reminding me.
Can't tell you how much it meant to me to find your question today.
Stay healthy,

Thanks for all this. You can, of course, read the second book in the series now--but you might want to read it slowly. Assuming that I finish the third book, and assuming that the publisher likes it, my best guess is that it will land out in the world sometime in the fall of 2020.
Sorry.

Please thank whoever it was that recommended my books.
I write gay stories with a comic bent, set in New York.
Some of my characters have sex, but I prefer to discreetly end the chapter rather than getting into the nitty gritty of what goes where. Sex scenes bore me when I read them (I skip ahead)—it's much worse when you write them.
I hope you give one of mine a shot.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a nice review! What a fab thing to find this morning.
Thanks also for using the ‘list’ feature on here. The Thank you for taking the time to leave such a nice review! What a fab thing to find this morning.
Thanks also for using the ‘list’ feature on here. The book is on several other lists, like THE BEST HUMOROUS GAY ROMANCES—if you scroll down from the book page, you should see LISTS WITH THIS BOOK. It would be awesome if you if you felt motivated to hit the VOTE FOR THIS BOOK button, and spread the word further. No idea if anybody actually looks at those lists but me.
I hope you'll read the second book as well. A sort of sequel, it picks up a few months later, and follows the third corner of the triangle--Jeffrey, the a-hole.
I knew when I got the idea to do the book that it would be a tricky sell. You’re asking yourself—who really gives a flying buttress about Jeffrey? I like to think I made it work. Please let me know what you think.

Buy my books.
It probably won't do anything for your career, but it couldn't hurt either. And they're funny.
Cheers,

The novels are now with my lovely publisher, Kensington Books, and--alas--I don't believe they have any plans. Too bad because it would be huge fun, wouldn't it?

I wanted to take somebody who flat out tells you he doesn't believe in love --- and bring him to the point of bawling his little eyes out about it. I had no idea if I could actually do that, but 261 pages later, ta-da!, I did and it's called WHERE DO I START?
With AND THE NEXT THING YOU KNOW..., I had a character who was a total asshole, and I wondered what would happen if he met someone with no patience for assholinity. Assholedness. Something like that. You pick.
I wasn't thinking it at the time, but looking back, both books would seem to be redemption stories. Not sure what that says about me as a person. Not sure I want to know either.
Ttfn.
