I retire to a beautiful oceanfront beach home within a small stretch of idyllic island houses in a sleepy dark community. New neighbours, to the left, play loud techno music from sunup to sundown, throwing empty beer cans on the sand and burning yard litter in the fire pit, while old neighbours, to the right, keep their lights on !bright! 24 hours a day, every day, forever.

The stories presented themselves out of my daily writings, becoming noticeably unique. I never read any of them at first, just wrote the words. Later, I decided to read one, then I started to share them with others, reading them out loud. This lead to the idea that they were to be published.
