Oh yes. Daily. I was talking about my day the other day, and I told my parents "I wrote an entire page today!" and they both looked at me, and my mom said "You were on the computer all day..." Yes I was. I was staring at the same sentence over and over and I couldn't figure out what comes next. I know what comes next, I just couldn't write it. Yes. Writers block is a big problem in my mind.

The best thing? I'm not sure. Writers block is real. People not understanding why you write is real. Empty bank accounts are real. But someone freaking out about a character you created? Someone begging for more details; hanging on your answer? Someone asking over and over when there'll be more books, because they need to know what happens? Those are great feelings. That's a wonderful moment. That makes the rest worth it.

Write whatever you want. I have told my relatives that they can't read what I write, because I know they won't understand. But I still write it, because I need to. Sometimes it's embarrassing when friends say they've read it, but after a while you get used to it. Don't try to force your writing into some other mold, because it won't fit there. Just write what comes best to you.

I'm currently working on the second book in the series. It'll explore more of the Regions, and traditions, so I'm working on the little details of each region.

I struggle a lot with inspiration. I don't know what inspires me to write. Every now and then I'll see something, and just need to write it down right then. My phone is full of stories that I jotted down while unable to get to my computer. If I'm going through a writing drought I have a few boards on pinterest that I scroll through, and I'll watch some of my favorite TV shows, or go on a walk and look for inspiration outside.

I've known the characters for a while, and would just fiddle around with short stories of their daily life. As I kept writing stories about them, the book unfolded on it's own.
