Reading George Saunder's LINCOLN IN THE BARDO right now and finding it a very interesting take on the afterlife, the rules for which I had to create for myself in A DAY OF SMALL BEGINNINGS (great fun but have to be consistent about it). I am looking forward to reading NIGHT TRAIN TO LISBON by Pascal Mercier next. Also, the new Elizabeth Strout book, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Always love her prose.
