Hi Dynatha, there will be a total of 3 books in Kendall's story. There will also be a continuation of Lucas' brother's stories after the trilogy is finished! I read constantly. Most of the time it's at least one book per day. I always felt like something was missing once the story was over. One day I decided that if I couldn't find it then I'd write it.
I love vampires. As you could tell since I quoted one of my favorite movies in the book. So that became the theme. I just had to create a new culture that had never been done before, which was difficult. After the characters came to life in my head, the rest just fell into place.

Honestly, random things inspire me. For example, we went on vacation and visited the boardwalk arcade. It inspired me so much that I included it in the Death and Darkness world. The description in the book matched how perfect that night was.
