I am reading Soren Summer's Monster and Jendi Reiter's Two Natures for a review that I promised the author. I am also re-reading Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go, and I want to read the Taiwanese lesbian writer Qiu Miaojin's Notes of a Crocodile. I'm trying to finish my own summer novella as well.

For The Boy Who Fell to Earth, people I know/knew. I owe it to the folks up in Manchester, the group homes I used to run, drug users, the day centre. I remember the guys who died too young: Stephen and Kevin in particular.
