See previous answer, Lola came fully formed. I have no idea where from or why but she came to me and told me her story. I am merely the channel she flows through. Who knows where inspiration comes from, I'm just grateful that the ideas keep coming.

I don't often have a choice, Lola is quite loud and often has new stories to tell me at 2.30am, that seems to be her hour of choice. If I don't write it she pesters me and I enjoy my sleep.

Just sit down and write, let it flow without overthinking it. What's the worst that can happen?

That's simple. I get to 'play' daily. Writing is a joy and I feel very lucky to have found it.

Try and stick to a schedule, I tend to write best in the afternoon so I get everything out of the way in the morning and settle down to write after lunch. I find once I actually start writing it flows naturally and before I know it four or five hours have passed by in a flash.
