Susan Mann I'm usually inspired to write because I have a story in my head I need to tell. It takes time to get it from my brain to the page, so I'm eager to keep building the story until it's told.

Write for yourself. I write books I would want to read.

Just. Write.
Susan Mann My current work in progress is a sequel to a romance currently with my agent. The heroine is an FBI Special Agent who in the first book sent to protect a man and his kids. I've just barely started it.
Susan Mann I get a pen and a notebook and start brainstorming. I find pen to paper helps me really focus on what has me stumped. It's usually a plot point, so once I really start picking the problem apart and find a solution, I'm back on track.

I also spend a lot of time staring out the window.
