Sorry for the late response! Infernal War Saga is a planned trilogy. There will be one more book after THE EMPEROR'S BONE PALACE. I'll start working on the final book in early 2023.

Hi Bridget! Sorry for the long delay in replying. My day job was insane the past few weeks. As to your question, I created Patrick, Jono, and the world that would exist in Soulbound back in 1999, well before Nora started AFtG. Nora and I didn't meet until a couple years later in the way early aughts. I adore her to bits, she's one of my longtime best friends, but no inspiration is drawn from her works. I did dedicated two of the Soulbound books to her though, because she's been a huge cheerleader for me and the series over the years.

Patrick is the easiest for me to write because I know his story so well, but I think I have the most fun when Wade is on the page.

Wade is legally an adult in the series, but he definitely looks to Patrick and Jono for guidance, and he trusts them. Emotionally Wade probably does see them as sort of father-figures to an extent, but he would never call them that on page.
