I have a life very ordinary and I don't have truly misteries to transform in a plot. So, the only interesting part of my life that I could transform in a plot for a book is my personal fight to make my dreams real. I think that transforming the difficulties in monsters, my dreams in misterious objects to find and me in a knight or a magician, my life could become a good fantasy book.

I think it's important to understand the motivation of the block. Sometimes it's possible that you simply have nothing to say, so I think it's better to write nothing instead that to write empty books. The only thing I can say it's to read much and to live different experiences, so you'll sow new ideas in your mind. New ideas could create new books.

Write all that passes in your heads. Read much, especially the classics. Don't stop to dream like children.
To write isn't a job, is passion. When you write a book, you make art and not business. Be always original and don't think about the sells, you must create something beautiful and not something who's liked by other people. Be yourself and write without calculations. Have your style and don't copy other writers.

To be a writer means to put your mind and your heart on a paper and to share it with the world. It's fantastic because is an evolution of the greatest human activity: the sharing of ideas. When people talks, they share ideas with their interlocutor, but the writer share them with the whole world and to make it he invents a story. Like a painter that uses colours to give another meaning at the reality, the writer uses words to make the same.

Now I'm working on the script for a short film and I'm writing another novel. At the same time I'm writing poems for Spillwords, I'm managing my two blogs and I'm publicizing "Il prezzo della vita".

In my opinion there isn't a principle. Sometimes I get inspired by an event, sometimes by a news, sometimes by a song or an other novel. Sometimes I get inspired by a dream, sometimes by the need to explain an idea. The inspiration has endless forms.

I always start a novel to send a message, to explain my point of view on something that is important for me.
I wrote "Il prezzo della vita" to denote that in our society money is too important. The novel talks about a person who buy all with money: friends, sex and his whole life. Today money doesn't buy only goods and services, but people too. To have a good social life is necessary to have money, because every action needs money to spend (for example we need money to pass an evening with friends). All our life depends on money. In my novel I explain better this concept and I show this reality in all its badness.
