Ani Talwar Sometimes it's the tiniest things around you that do it. Like watching someone from a shop window and suddenly you're struck by how simple a scene in a book could explore the narrator's hometown or watching it rain makes you think of how perfect a stormy scene would be. I guess anything- you just have to pay attention to the details around you.
Ani Talwar I think I'd like to go to where The Hobbit was set, and do riddles with Gollum or possibly to one of the worlds I have created for book and just see what the characters think of it- see what they feel about a world created for them.
Ani Talwar Currently, I'm reading through The Discworld series and also the Outlander series

Ani Talwar I am currently working on writing a second book which links into Atro-City.
Ani Talwar Being able to write. The best thing is being in a position where you can do what you love and teach and help other people love it too and see the world in the same crazy way you do. (Well it's a crazy world for me anyway:) .)
Ani Talwar If I don't feel like writing them I don't write. Forcing myself makes for bad writing so I either write notes of what I was thinking or just think of the story and work through the plot so I can alter it when I do want to write.
Ani Talwar Honestly I think trying to understand life itself makes for a very good plot because you have so much to write about and there are so many great questions to ask. Having characters trying to understand who they are also makes for a great opportunity to explore how I think another persons mind could work.
Ani Talwar Don't give up and don't be put down if it doesn't look good. Writing isn't like a job, so you don't have to schedule exact hours to write in if that doesn't help. My advice is always keep a pen or a phone or something to write on with you because you can't schedule inspiration, it just comes. Don't force yourself to write either. If you don't feel like writing one day, then don't. Think about your plot and give yourself something great to write about next time.
