L.M. Valiram It is the curse of the artist. Writer's block is like a fever. You can't do much. You can nurture and nourish and distract yourself till it passes. But while it is there you suffer, you moan, you boil and you roast.
L.M. Valiram Anything sets me off. It can be the grimace on the face of a stranger, a lazy cloud in the sky, the sound of water, a moment of loneliness, an uncommon name, a new place, a gesture, a line in a book. Pretty much anything at the weirdest and most inappropriate of times.
L.M. Valiram I have more works in progress than a writer should. My novels in the pipeline are like children, I cant decide which one I love most. It seems they all are unique and they all demand my attention. We will have to wait see which egg is the first to hatch.
L.M. Valiram Writing is like playing God. You create lives, play with them, watch them unfold, decide their fates, dream their dreams and take them where you want them to go. Writing is the ultimate expression of independence and freedom. I love to sit with my imaginary friends, watch them and pen them into reality.
