Being a first-time author, I have much to learn. But, for me, I set myself the goal of writing 20 minutes a day. Sometimes I wrote for my book and other times I wrote my feelings and thoughts that popped into my mind. I often found that once I got going the 20 minutes turned into a much longer period of time.
