If you are sure that you've something new and definitive to offer to the literary world then don't stop. Just start typing. It's hard to find publishers these days but don't let that stop you. Take to self-publishing if publishers don't approve of your ideas. Self-publishing is equally (if not more) paying than a conventional publishing model.

I've been a media, management and political consultant for a while. My role has been to assist leaders from business and politics in making better informed and effective decisions. I found that a great many books on this topics were not just inadequate but also impractical. Strangely, I found ancient India (read Vedic) texts with commensurate knowledge and wisdom in this domain. Thankfully my Sanskrit education came in handy. Since most of the translation proved inadequate I decided to re-translate them myself. Thus began my journey as a writer.

I am currently working on three books, namely:
RISHI TALES - a collection of forgotten tales of the Rishis (Vedic Sages) in Sanskrit which will also contain my own illustration.
KAUTILYA - a book providing definitive knowledge about the ideas and ideals of Kautila a.k.a. Chanakya a.k.a. Vishu Gupta
VEDIC LEADERSHIP DOCTRINE - a magnum opus containing over 550 almost lost Artha Sutras (axioms) for better management and leadership.

You have a writers block when your mind is disturbed. I ensure that I clam my mind and spend a good time meditating. A few minutes to nothingness can help you rekindle your mind and bring those ideas and words effortless on paper/screen. I've found that less the mind is distracted the greater the lucidity of thoughts. Solitude is a must for overcoming writer's block.

The sheer feeling of bliss. Nothing is more satisfying than creating a work that will outlive you and, probably, make some difference to its reading long after you are gone.
