I have not come across writer's block yet. If we lubricate our mind and soul through meaningful work, there won't be writer's block. Lubrication could be through practicing mystery not mastery and going on a weekly date with your creative child or creative being.

It is a meaningful work and brings pacification to the inner restlessness and cravings. Besides materialistic gains, it helps in connecting with the laws of nature - when we allow our thoughts to flow freely.

I just have two simple suggestions - (a) There is just one rule to be a writer - Just sit down & write. (b) Do not compare your creativity with someone well established; it is an insult to a creative child. Nurture your creative child - it is an evolutionary process, it would take time.

I am working on two projects. Both the scripts are in the editing phase. The first one is a story of a teenager from a small town in India. He is trying to figure out the world around him in his simple ways.
The second project is about a mind reading monk and a girl who is too much into reading. Both of them play a critical role in a life of a protagonist who is working in corporate world.

Ideas come from experience and the books we read. In my latest project, fiction, the protagonist is a teenage boy from a small town. I have portrayed his life and events in his life looking into my experience staying in small towns.
