I haven't quite figured this one out yet to be honest. Sometimes it helps to take a break and go for a walk or to listen to some music. I have often found inspiration in my kids as well. The reality is though, that there will be times when we as writes cannot get past it for a time. It is those times that we can't given in. Keep at it, eventually we get through it.

Don't forget why you became a writer, as I did? Whatever you do, hold onto it. Don't let failure, discouragement, or life get in the way of your pursuit. Seek a guiding hand or two along the way and believe in the gift you've been given. I lost site of that, and for years have felt like a big part of me was missing. I am so glad God has seen fit to help me find it again.

My Newest Project is actually a story I had already written, "Finding Philemon" was written as a devotional. As of 2023, I am reviving it as an Episodic Series. It was written and dedicated to our youngest daughter Hannah. When it was written the first time, the idea came from a bible lesson I was teaching. Through teaching it, I learned what I consider the true value of the book of Philemon in the New Testament, Accepting Gods love and forgiveness in our own lives.

I love writing because it comes from the depths of my heart and my imagination can run with it. I believe I was given the gift of writing because it helps others see the person God created me to be. The messages I've been able to share in what I have written have brought great joy to my heart and made me a better person in Christ.

Truthfully, I've been on a writing hiatus since 2018. Its been a long time coming and there have been a lot of us and downs, but I am working on an Episodic Series entitled "Finding Philemon" that will currently be released on Kindle. It is a project I wrote several years ago that told a fictional account of the Slave Onesimus and his Journey to Faith, which will ultimately lead to a return to his Master, Philemon.

One of the things that has always inspired me when I've been in a rough spot it the sound of the ocean or the sound of rain falling from the sky. It always reminds me of the new things that come after a wave crashes into the shoreline or when the rain has ended. Outside of the two things, I'd say Instrumental Music.
