Glenna McCarthy I try not to let that (voice of doubt) smash my vibe. I am a hyper/anxious type of person and my mind never slows down so learning ways to balance yourself is very important. As far as writing, if you write something silly you can always change your mind later so never expect everything to feel like a masterpiece, in the beginning. I was taking a drawing class as a young child and I made a mistake and went to crumble the paper and the teacher said, "you can always fix a mistake by letting the picture take a different form" and he showed me how a mistake can be made into a new creation.

Glenna McCarthy Once you learn to navigate the format/editing etc you will be elated. At one time I was called illiterate so anyone can do it if you want it bad enough
Glenna McCarthy I just finished being featured in HEP magazine and I am currently blogging for POZ magazine.
Glenna McCarthy I felt invisible and resorted to negative attention. I also tried to be an entertainer and buy people so writing was a cheaper and healthier distraction and outlet.
Glenna McCarthy I felt that all the pain and confusion I had been through had to come to some kind of positive outcome.
