I don't actually believe in writer's block per se. Either the head is ready to write or it is not. A lot of the work that goes into writing doesn't necessarily happen at a conscious level, so if you are "blocked" then that work hasn't finished yet.

Almost as a race memory, vampirism stalks our subconscious. It has existed well before Bram Stoker and runs throughout many cultures. I decided to explore that and take it back to its roots.
