Honestly, it's never been an issue for me. I write too much, I feel. I have more journals than I know what to do with and could probably pump a few more books out of me within the year if I had the time. I'm just trying to find the balance now between writing for an audience and writing for myself.

Nostalgia is one of the most powerful feelings, which was something I realized only within the last year. I wrote the book in a matter of a few months just because I was so inspired. Sweet Familiarity is full of poetry that I wrote in that nostalgic mindset, as well as when I reflected on memories of relationships, losses, and general life occurrences.

Pen EVERYTHING down. Start a journal and pour your heart into it. Once you start writing about whatever it is that goes on in our minds, we start to understand ourselves better. And build a better relationship with ourselves. And ultimately be able to find the right words to describe the chaos inside of us.
