Samantha Tamburello Being able to make sense of the nonsense. Assigning words to chaos. Explaining why I'm sad or happy or completely out of my mind. And best of all, connecting with people who are the same.
Samantha Tamburello Honestly, it's never been an issue for me. I write too much, I feel. I have more journals than I know what to do with and could probably pump a few more books out of me within the year if I had the time. I'm just trying to find the balance now between writing for an audience and writing for myself.
Samantha Tamburello Nostalgia is one of the most powerful feelings, which was something I realized only within the last year. I wrote the book in a matter of a few months just because I was so inspired. Sweet Familiarity is full of poetry that I wrote in that nostalgic mindset, as well as when I reflected on memories of relationships, losses, and general life occurrences.
Samantha Tamburello Pen EVERYTHING down. Start a journal and pour your heart into it. Once you start writing about whatever it is that goes on in our minds, we start to understand ourselves better. And build a better relationship with ourselves. And ultimately be able to find the right words to describe the chaos inside of us.
