Our 3 year old child asked me why he should not be too loud at night. I said because he could scare other people as well as little animals living in our back yards. Then he asked why little animals would be scared, so I thought about what kind of loud sound in nature could be harmful to animals as well as people. I told my children this story and they loved it.

We are currently working on our next story: Scotty Skunk hears a Scare Sound. It teaches the letter S, its sound, a few S words, and most importantly, it teaches animal biology, proper behaviors around animals, safety, and a love for nature.

We can teach little kids by creating fun stories. Little kids need to learn many different things in order to build network among their brain cells. Therefore, a fun story that integrates multiple subjects is the more effective way to help their brain development. Our stories teach letters, words, simple math, science, nature, behavior, safety, Spanish, Chinese, anything that is good for their brain development.

We teach our two toddlers reading, math, science, nature, and Chinese at home. Also a little bit Spanish! At the same time, we do a lot of art work with them (painting, drawing, craft, anything that is creative). Sometimes they ask us really cute/curious questions, and we found the best way to teach them is by telling them fun stories, so we started writing down these stories.
Two years ago, Hua began to illustrate these stories. We just published the first 16 stories during this Holiday season--Panda Kids ABC: Davy Rainbow Holiday Adventures! on kindle and Amazon Video Direct.
Now we are on our 17th book --Scotty Skunk hears a Scary Sound. It teaches the letter S, its sound, a few S words, and most importantly, a little animal biology, awareness of safety, and kindness. It will be released soon!
