Vikram Rangnekar I would say stop being an aspiring writer just start doing it. Don't over think the idea, if you find it intriguing enough then just sit down and write. If nothing just create the structure, the chapter titles and a small description. There are no rules when it comes to creating things, don't let anyone tell you there are. Just follow your heart.
Vikram Rangnekar A bunch of stuff, I'll tell you soon enough
Vikram Rangnekar Getting myself inspired to do anything requires me to first be passionate about the project at hand. I find that picturing the final result and chipping away at it a day at a time helps. Making progress is in itself inspiring. Also lots of coffee and comfortable couch. I found a cafe near my place that I would walk to early morning. I like to think the distractions and the background noise of the place helped me more than complete silence or music.
Vikram Rangnekar I was struggling with managing the technical complexity of my first startup an d stumbled onto a new Google product called Google App Engine. As I dug deeper I was stunned by its promise to handle all the complexity and let me focus on my product. I was very skeptical at first but as we used it more I could see it delivering on that promise. This launched my journey into the world of cloud computing. I have since advised many founders to choose the cloud and studied many other success stories that did just that. I have always been meaning to put my thoughts and learnings together into a book and I finally sat down and did just that.
