I keep writing. I don't believe in writer's block, just crappy writing days. But if you just keep writing, you'll get through it. Not everything you write will be worth publishing. I often have to delete entire chapters and scenes, but if you keep writing you'll get through it.

I love being a writer. It's the best job in the world to tell people stories. But if I had to choose one thing it would be being able to make up anything I want in an imaginary world and be paid for it. It's like being paid to play all day even on the days when my imaginary friends don't want to talk to me.

Just keep writing. All it takes to be a writer is to write. Everything else comes with time and determination. Keep writing. Attend conferences. Network. And above all don't be afraid to put yourself out there. The more you're out there the more people will see your writing.

I'm working on a romantic suspense that begins with the death of an Amish woman. One of my best friends is Amish. She asked to be put in a book, and to be killed in it. Gotta love those kind of friends.

I just write. You can't wait for inspiration. It will never be perfect, so just write. There's gold in with the chaff.
