People think you're amazing! I say I've written a novel, and people just lose it. I guess it's silly sometimes, but it's nice to be showered with compliments without trying too hard.

Write. Write as much as you can about as many things as you can. And don't take reading for granted. The more you read the more ways you learn to express your thoughts on paper, and the more you get inspired to write.

I read. Or I force myself to write. Usually in my case if I just START writing I'll keep writing. If I really can't think of anything to write I will work on something else, or read some of my old work.

Currently I am working on editing my first two novels and hopefully getting at least one out in paperback before May 2017. I am brainstorming two more novels - both of which will be a mix of epic fantasy and historical.

I read! I try to think of the kinds of characters I want to create, then create a story to put them in. Or I think of a place, a time period, or an event, and try to create characters around it. I like watching movies for inspiration too.
