My writing is all based in Victorian England and so whenever I got writers block (which was common, even though I knew the overall outline of the story), I would research some aspect of the scene I wanted to write. There is so much information on the internet, it always gave me ideas to play with.

Give it a try! You won't be perfect when you start, but there is a lot of information available to help new writers. Also, plan to have the work professionally edited at least once before you publish. If there are holes in your story or the writing needs reworking, they will tell you before you go public!

The Ambition & Destiny Series. This is a family saga, set in Victorian England, which was inspired by my family history research. I currently have drafts of three books, each at various stages of editing, and plans for a fourth book. Book 1 of the series, Hooks & Eyes, is scheduled for release in early 2017.
